Deck import

Turn a Spellbinder deck into a registration sheet

Paste a Spellbinder link and download a printable, fillable deck registration sheet PDF in the official layout. Free, no account.

Spellbinder is the deck builder and card database behind Decklist.gg, so a deck built there imports with its commander, main deck, sideboard, name and format already in place. Paste the deck link and the registration sheet is one click away.

Links that work

  • https://www.spellbinder.gg/decks/<deck-name>-<id>: the address of any deck page, including the short /decks/<id> link from a QR code.
  • Event decks and precons import the same way. Private and unlisted decks cannot be fetched; make the deck public or paste its text export.

How to do it

  1. Copy the deck's address from your browser while viewing it on Spellbinder.
  2. Open the import dialog, paste the link into Import from URL and click Import. The list arrives with its main deck, sideboard and commander already separated.
  3. Check anything flagged, add your name and the event, and download the filled PDF or copy a share link.

What carries over

  • Commander, main deck and sideboard as separate sections.
  • The deck name, into the Deck name field.
  • The format, so legality is checked against the right list.

Good to know

  • Spellbinder serves the list from its public text export, so what imports is exactly what a signed-out visitor can see on the deck page.
  • Cards Spellbinder could not resolve to a printing keep the name you typed and are flagged here if the database does not know them either.

Frequently asked questions

Why would a Spellbinder deck fail to import?

Almost always because it is private or unlisted. Open the deck in Spellbinder, set its visibility to public, and paste the link again. If Spellbinder is unreachable, the import dialog says so; paste the text export instead.
