MTG Arena exports a decklist with set codes and collector numbers after every card and separate Deck, Sideboard and Companion sections. Decklist.gg reads that format directly, drops the printing details, keeps the sections, and fills the official registration sheet for Standard, Pioneer, Historic, Timeless, Brawl or any other format you pick.

Exporting from Arena

  • In the deck builder choose Export, or on the deck list screen choose Export to clipboard. The list is copied as text.
  • A line looks like "4 Lightning Strike (DMU) 137". The set code and number are ignored by Decklist.gg.

How to do it

  1. Export the deck from Arena (Export in the deck builder, or Export to clipboard). The decklist text is now on your clipboard.
  2. Open the deck builder and select the format first (the export does not carry it, and it decides where a commander goes). Then click Import decklist, switch to Paste text, paste the list and click Import. Section headers, set codes and collector numbers are understood and stripped.
  3. Check the flagged cards (unknown names or cards not legal in the format), add your name and the event, and download the PDF.

What carries over

  • Main deck (Arena’s "Deck" section), sideboard and commander for Brawl decks.
  • The companion, once, in the sideboard: Arena lists it under Companion and again in the sideboard.
  • The deck name when the export includes the About and Name lines.

Good to know

  • Arena does not export the format, so pick Brawl, Standard Brawl, Historic or Timeless in the deck builder before you paste. A 100-card export pasted while the default Standard is selected is treated as a Commander deck, not Brawl.
  • Alchemy rebalanced cards (names starting with "A-") are Arena-only and will not be found for paper formats.

Frequently asked questions

Do the set codes and collector numbers end up on the sheet?

No. Lines like "4 Lightning Strike (DMU) 137" print as "4 Lightning Strike". Registration sheets list card names only.

Can I register a Brawl deck from Arena?

Yes. Select Brawl or Standard Brawl first, then paste the export: the commander prints at the top of the main deck. A 100-card Brawl deck continues onto a second page.
