Links that work

  • https://mtgtop8.com/event?e=<event>&d=<deck>&f=<format>: a deck opened from an event page. The f code (ST, MO, LE, VI, PAU, EDH...) is what sets the format, so copy the full address.
  • Any other mtgtop8.com page is accepted, but only deck pages contain a list to import.

How to do it

  1. Copy the deck's address from your browser while viewing it on MTGTop8.
  2. Open the import dialog, paste the link into Import from URL and click Import. The list arrives with its main deck, sideboard and commander already separated.
  3. Check anything flagged, add your name and the event, and download the filled PDF or copy a share link.

What carries over

  • Main deck and sideboard with quantities.
  • The format, when the address carries the f code; otherwise the format you had selected stays.
  • The archetype name as deck name and the player as deck designer.

Good to know

  • MTGTop8 abbreviates some older card names and uses accents in others. Every name is matched against the Spellbinder card database, and the few that do not match are flagged so you can fix them in the builder.

Standard, Pioneer, Modern, Legacy, Vintage, Pauper, Premodern, Duel Commander and the other formats Decklist.gg lists. Limited and Block decks import as plain lists, with the format left as it was.
